On a real life angle, elements of the storyline featured in Accidental Heroes echoes air disasters such as the September 11 hijacking and the 2015 suicide by the co pilot of Germanwings flight 9525 disaster. It is a simple, straightforward, and enjoyable book that will have you turning the pages consistently, and if you pout it down at night, the first thing you will think of in the morning is picking it back up. With apologies to anyone who disagrees but rarely have I felt this negatively about any book in my entire life .

However, the drama of the lives of the supporting characters really brings entertainment to this book.But her husband's savage death in Iraq was more than anyone should bear, leaving her widowed with three children. This story is perfect and sad and keeps you wanting to read, even when you should put the book down and go bed. The majority of pages are undamaged with some creasing or tearing, and pencil underlining of text, but this is minimal. But one fateful day their lives intersect in ways that would define how they view themselves for the rest of their lives.

It's also different to many books I have chosen to read and i needed a change after a series of eight books.In addition to the story, the reader meets the different passengers and flight crew and learns about their lives.

Every character was etched clearly, giving me their emotions and information about their personal lives.Passengers, crew, and experts on the ground become heroes out of necessity to try to avert tragedy at the 11th hour.

Accidental Heroes is a pulse pounding thriller that is very much set in the here and now of our current climate. It is based on the concept that, in stressful and scary situations, we meet and get to become heroes.

What follows is a difficult waiting game as the flight heads toward what could either be nothing, or San Francisco's own 9/11. But it emerges that there’s someone on the flight planning something terrible, and these strangers’ lives entwine as they come together to help avert a tragedy at the eleventh hour.
